We are delighted to launch our new-look newsletter, NCMH Insider.

In this issue, we celebrate a significant milestone in our study - surpassing 10,000 participants! We also announce the launch of our new podcast, Piece of Mind, take a look at a new trial to improve treatment of PTSD and hear about the experiences of a research nurse with bipolar disorder.

Introducing our new podcast

Piece of Mind is the new podcast from the National Centre for Mental Health and Cardiff University's MRC Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics.

Our podcast aims to bring you the latest research from Wales and beyond combined with real-life experiences of people affected by mental health problems.

So far, we've covered postnatal depression, PTSD and ADHD.

Celebrating 10,000 participants

In December 2017 we recruited our 10,000th volunteer!

This is a fantastic milestone for NCMH, and we are extremely grateful to each and every person who has given their time to help with our research.

We celebrated earlier this month with a little party, and produced a short video with different members of the NCMH team to say thank you to everyone who has taken part in our research.
